  It looks like you need to activate your software using the Product Key Code (PKC) license code that you got with the software.  Do this via the "Help>Activate this software" menu item.  The following white paper should also be helpful to you: http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/whitepapers/bartender-software-activation.pdf
