Setting Up Sql2008 On Win2012 Server (Bartender 10.1)

Hello,

I have to move my installation of Bartender 10.1 to a new server WIN2012. Bartender installation was no problem. But when I tried to set up the SQL DB the error #1051 "SQL express point could not be checked" appeared.

 

System Server WIN2012

Bartender 10.1. SR4

SQL Server 2008 SQLEXPR_x86_ENU.exe

 

What went wrong? What SQL Server version do I have to install? Do I have to upgrade Batender software?

  You don't have to use the SQL Server Express bundled with BarTender, it's just there as a convenience.  You might want to download and install SQL Server Express 2012 instead: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29062
