What is the barcode symbology you are using?  Some barcodes have a limited allowable data source or can only offer an even number of data digits.  In the data source properties of the object, select the "Transforms" tab and check to see if any of the validations limit the maximum number of characters or is truncating characters.

Attach the document for me to look at as clearly something has been set to cause this.  if I create a Code 128 barcode from scratch and give it a value of "P577032-016-140" then I get exactly the expected result in the barcode.  Are you sure it's not just the human readable that is missing the extra characters?

Click the "More Reply Options" button and then the "Choose file" and "Attach this file" buttons found under the text you write in the reply.

It looks like you've not selected the database field from which you wish to source the data for the barcode.  Also, the sample data specified is exactly what you get as a printed result.

What do I need to add to the Use Field. I tried the number that I what viewed in the bar code, but did not work.

I'm just looking for a bar code that show we the complete number. as you can see I have no clue what I'm doing.

Should I maybe use screen Data or Data Base in the Source field?

Do you have a database that you're connecting to that contains the value you want to print, or do you just want to specify the value to print at print time via a data entry form?  Perhaps the below training videos will put you on the right track:

I have no database that I'm connecting. I just want to specify a value to print. this value will not change for each print out.

Well then change the data source type to be "Screen Data" and enter in the value you wish to print.

Ok, I changed the source type to screen data and entered the part number but its showing half of the number. I'm running version 7.10

what version are you running? here is the file, see if you can change to screen data and get the complete part number. the complete part number is P577032-016-140

Thanks for not giving up on me yet !

I downloaded your file and you did not change it to screen data. It is still set to database field.

And wow that is a seriously old version of BarTender. I tried to resave the file in your version but BarTender 2016 ONLY allows me to save in 11 versions older than 2016 and your version is more than 11 versions old!
