I believe the answer is yes.  When you open up commander, if you go to "help" and "About Commander" does it say Enterprise Automation ?

I see. It says Enterprise Automation Edition Demo and Expired. Is that why? Possibly the machine I am using now was put on some trial version long before.

Slickson's right, TCP/IP trigger's only available in Enterprise Automation edition and available in Trial too.

Before expire, you can select edition from BarTender Help menu.

If you don't have a PC which never had current BarTender installed and want to try out Enterprise Automation feature, please contact to regional Seagull sales.

Sorry to hijack this thread, can I confirm that when using the Enterprise Automation edition in Trial mode I can test the Commander functionality?

    Thanks.

Yes - that's somewhat related to the topic. You can test full Commander functionality during valid trial period.

Another Hijack, my apologies for that.

I am new (2 weeks) to Bartender and ran the Automation trial edition 10.1 SR4 to discover it's (interfacing) options like using TCP/IP trigger in Commander, which works quite well for my pending application.

Now, after buying and activating an actual automation license, I am suddenly left with a version which can only do file, E-Mail and Serial Port triggers like Stevenhan and locked out of my previously created .tl documents.

@ Shotaro: What exactly is the point of offering functionality in a trial version that is not available in the corresponding licensed version?

Is there a way (other than starting a new trial on a different PC) to open and modify the .tl files to fit the automation license?

    Hi Jetxs,

BarTender has the edition selection function from Help menu, which Commander doesn't have.

At choosing edition, please check editions chart too.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please contact to regional tech support and send the .tl file.

To consider purchase Enterprise Automation instead, please contact the reseller you have purchased BarTender or our sales as soon as possible.
