Maestro.service.exe Service Using 50% Cpu
Our customer is using Bartender 9.2. I noticed a service called maestro.service.exe using appx 50% cpu steady on the server. Stopping/starting the service did not help. Any ideas on what might be causing that or how to fix?

gpoescc,
Do you mean that you're having the same Printer Maestro CPU usage than described initially by tommmio?
If yes, let me know:
- Exact BarTender Edition, Version and Service Pack in use.
- Windows version in use.
- Is Printer Maestro installed both on the BarTender machine and the computer where the Seagull drivers have been locally installed? On which computer is Printer Maestro showing the 50% CPU usage?
- Is this 50% CPU usage steady, or do you see it in Spikes?
- It would be fine as well what printer make and models are installed on the system, what printer driver (and version) you've installed for these printers.

Was there ever a resolution on this problem? We recently installed bartender 10.1 in a Citrix environment and printer maestro uses 50% CPU even with no printing activity at all.

- Go to System Configuration/ Services
- Organize columns by manufacturer
- Find Seagull Scientific, Inc services
- Un-check services from running automatically at start up: Bartender and Printer Maestro
- Click Apply and restart the computer!
- Remember this steps to enable your Bartender for future use. B)
