Networked Printers? Folgen

I'm looking into purchasing the Enterprise Automation edition of bartender. We currently have about 40 Zebra printers on the shop floor and in the shipping/receiving departments. Does the License Server require these printers to be networked? Currently they are all local printers, some stations have more than one Zebra printer controlled through an A/B/C switch (which I am pretty sure I need to remedy before we begin).

If you wish to work with a single license for all your printers all computers to which the printers are connected need to be inside the same network (or at least be able to reach the Seagull License Server). Note that the Seagull License Server (SLS) is the application counting the amount of printers in use and it gets this information directly from BarTender (not from the printer itself).

For more information please take a look at our white papers on printer based licenses:

Also remember to consult your local reseller for further details on the matter or get in contact directly with us. You'll find our contact details on the below webpage:

Thanks and regards.
