Thanks

In your text field under Data Sources go to Transforms and then Serialization. This is for version 10.1.

I do not understand how I do, if I have a label called "red" with a serial number 151000 will have to print two and get 151001, then shut the computer off and relight the next day, but this time I print a label called "white "that must have the serial number 151002, how should I do?Thank youHello0

Make sure you configure the serial number to update the value after each print if prompted via the data entry form. The serial number is embedded into the BarTender document itself so be sure to save the label between BarTender sessions. Note that when using the Print Station to print this label, it will detect a serial number in use and will perform the save for you automatically.

You can create a global data field which is a data source that is stored in the BarTender System Database and can be shared between documents, and if a shared BTSDB is in use, then between users/computers as well. More info on page 16 of this white paper: http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/whitepapers/whitepaper_whatsnewinbt101.pdf

Ok in this way it work, but there is a way to work offline? I use The serial number only on my pc I don't have to share with other pc and when my pc is not connect to internet the Serial number don't work. Thanks for help. Bye 0 -
Perhaps using a VB script to read and write a value from and to file on your local PC might be a better option. See attached example:

Thanks for reply, but forgive my ignorance, as I do to use the script? I have to click on it?
Thank you very much.hi0 -
You'll find the VB script in the data source of the serial number object. Sorry, but I won't be able to teach you how to program VB script. For this there are plenty of resources on the web or the BarTender Help system.
