Email Integration - Service Automatically Stopping
We've got a setup where information is sent to an email address, and BarTender picks up the emails and outputs the labels. The problem we have is occasionally the email server gets an update and reboots. While it's rebooting, BarTender can't reach it so it stops the service.
Is there a way to either automatically restart this stopped service (eg through a Windows event or something), or change how many tries it takes before BT stops it? We only know it's off when our users complain about no labels coming out when they expected some, so we have to log onto the BT server and start the email checking again.

Hello Mark!
Thank you for your comment.By default, BarTender related Windows Services have their Startup Type set to "Automatic (Delayed Start)". This setting tells the service to wait until other Windows resources it depends on have started before starting itself.
Setting the service to "Automatic" tells the service to start as soon as possible. This means that it might try to start before other resources it depends on are available, which can cause the service to have issues such as the one you are commenting on.
Could you make sure your BarTender Services are set to "Automatic (Delayed Start)" on this machine?

Thanks for the response, Xabier. I can confirm all the services are set to Automatic Delayed Start. I've just added a scheduled task to stop/start the services in the morning to see if this helps re-establish the connection if it's lost. Thanks :)

You are welcome Mark!
After speaking with some colleagues, they suggested creating a new web service integration and trying to ping the server this way, this way we could check its availability and rule out a number of things if this new integration functions as expected.
Here is some documentation that will prove to be of use when creating a web service Integration:Let us know how it went with the Delayed Start and the web service Integration! Hopefully, these will do the trick!
