I am working on building a label that is connected to a view in our MySQL database.  I am able to connect to the database fine but I am having an issue when adding a record picker to the form.  When i open the form template then select the Record Picker control the bartender app becomes completely unresponsive.  After 60-90 seconds the basic record picker will show on the form but i am not able to interact with it to resize or arrange without the app becoming unresponsive again.  

If i do spend the time getting the form arranged the act of printing brings the app to a stop again.  

Any ideas what could cause this?
