Setup disappears and never ends

I am trying to install BT2021_R7_172970_Full on my machine.

The setup window disappeared and the process never ends.

I see the process is still alive but apparently doing nothing.

I suspect that a previous failed tentative left some corrupt data behind.

What would you suggest?

  Hi Ricardo,
  
  Welcome to the Forums!
  
  As you say, this could be related to the previously failed tentative install. You could try to remove the program fully via the use of this Windows application.
  
  Also, if you open your Windows Services, can you see any of the listed below?
  
  
  
  Having these running could be an indication that there are still files and dependencies created on the system and preventing another full install from completing.
  
  Finally, could you tell me what Windows version are you running?

  Hi Xabier,

  I ran this windows tool. It didn´t detect any issue but after that I was able to run the setup.

  Weird...

  There were none of these services installed.

  It is indeed a little weird.
  
  And what kind of Windows machine are we using for the installation? Windows 10? If so, is it fully patched?
