Sign up for 30 trial, download 2019 prog, run install, appears to install then nothing. No icon, no files, nothing.

  In order to properly understand the issue, we would need to know more information about this issue: Does the installer finish installing BarTender, or does the window disappear? Can you see the following message on the wizard?
  
  
  
  If this is not the case, perhaps this is an issue with your antivirus or firewall software, we would recommend temporarily deactivating it and trying to install BarTender 2019 again.
