License Transfer Question

    Welcome to the BarTender Community Forums!

    The Support Number and the Product Key Code are indeed different. The first is used to store your license's support agreement status, while the Product Key Code is necessary for BarTender's activation. 

    You will need your Product Key Code in order to activate BarTender in a new machine; please review the following article as it contains the necessary steps for Moving your License to a new PC. If you don't have it with you and can't locate it, we would advise discussing this with your BarTender reseller, or you can also reach our Support department here. Please, have your Support Number with you (you will find it under the Help > About tab in BarTender Designer) if you log a ticket with us, as our support engineers will need it.
