We have many different templates because of the version of BT we have (2016) and some factors that went into different products needing different templates.  However some elements of the templates are in common with one another and I would like to make it so that the layout between each of them is consistent without having to update every single template; this would reduce errors that arise from not updating templates that need to be updated.  If I put the shared content into a layer then I do not see a way to replicate that layer across templates but I am not sure if this is the right approach.

A theoretical example of what I mean (if it is unclear) is this kind of format:

my goal is to only have to update the bottom right block on a template-by-template basis, and that if I update the others the changes I make are automatically replicated across all templates that use that element and to be able to control what templates use which elements.
