    Hello Robert,

    Thank you for reaching us via the Community Forums!

    In order to properly troubleshoot this issue, we would appreciate it if you could answer a few questions:

    • When did this issue appear? Did BarTender use to open?
    • What BarTender version, edition, and service release are you using?
    • Do other applications open, such as the BarTender Administration Console?
    • Do you get any error messages when trying to open the application?
    • Finally, what Windows version are you using on the machine with the issue?

    • When did this issue appear? 2 weeks ago Did BarTender use to open? always open, no issue

    • Finally, what Windows version are you using on the machine with the issue? 10

    A couple of quick suggestions you could try:

    - Check all the BarTender Services are running, if there is an issue with one of these (System Service I think it is) then that will prevent Admin Console from running and it that is not running then all the user permissions are assumed to "denied" and so that could throw up that error.

    - If they are Started then try logging in to the PC with a different user account (ideally one with full admin rights) and see it that changes anything. If someone has accessed Admin Console and adjusted the settings and then enabled security then that could cause a problem
