Installing BarTender on a Second Computer
Hello,
I've been looking through various articles but struggling to find what I'm after. The computer that our Bartender software is on is incredibly slow, so we are wanting to install the software on a second computer. We also want this second computer to host the license as we will likely dispose of the old computer (we have only kept it because it has Bartender on it!)
I have found the article on how to move the license from one computer to the other, but I can't seem to find anything on how to install the software on a second computer. Will I need to deactivate it on the old computer before I can install it on the second computer?

I believe the article you are referencing is this one, correct? Since the end goal is to dispose of the old computer permanently, I believe the most straightforward action plan would be to deactivate your BarTender license on the old machine; then install your copy of BarTender on the new computer, and activate BarTender.

What Program and Licence are you using? This can be found on the Help and About screen in BarTender Designer. The way the licencing worked for most of the versions changed with the launch of 2019 and so the answer to your query depends on this
