labels uses data from previous job

Dear, we have labels getting data from a database. These labels are printed using a BTXML script. In that script we have namedsubstring elements and queryprompt elements. Sometimes it happens that the data printed on the label has the correct namedsubstring values, but the data queried using the queryprompt values isn't correct. Instead it seems the queryprompt values from the previous BTXML script are used. It's a rare occurrence and we are not able to reproduce it. Using the same BTXML script a second time gives the correct result.

Anyone who might know what's happening? (BarTender 2016 R8)

  Can you please upgrade the current BarTender 2016 release to the latest one, which is R9 and see if this behavior persists?

   

  You can find it here under other versions and options.

  Hi, my issue was that my datafields and querystring were not in the right place in the XML file, and that seemed to create a weird scenario where the datafields in a first BTXML job were used for the second. Hope this helps you.
