Symptom

When trying to print, you may receive the following error message:

Error Message 3600 The print job has been aborted because the template does not reference any database fields.

Solution

Solution 1: Link Template Field to Database

If you do need to use the database, you need to properly configure at least one object on the template to use a database field. See Getting started with database connections for more information.

Solution 2: Remove Database Connection

If you do not wish to use the database, you should remove the connection from your BarTender document.

1. Open the Template.
2. Go to File > Database Connection Setup.
3. Click the X to remove the database connection.
