Symptom

When accessing a Windows dialog (such as File > Print), nothing happens. The BarTender application appears unresponsive and the new dialog window does not come up.

Environment

BarTender 2016 and later.

Fix/Answer

The dialog is responding, the problem is that the software opened the window off-screen. This may happen when working on a computer with multiple monitors through a remote connection from a location with a single monitor. To move the window back:

1. In Windows 10, 8, 7, and Vista, use Shift + F10 on the item in the taskbar, then select Move.

2. Drag your mouse right or left until you see the missing window.
