How to create vertical Kanji characters and alphabetical letters in BarTender?

To create vertical Kanji characters: 

1. Create a text object within BarTender Designer and choose a font type that is written in a vertical format (font type usually marked by an "@" symbol)
   

2. The text will may appear in the following orientation:
   

3. To make the object into appear in vertical format, go into the Text Properties > Position and change the Rotation setting. In the example above, the text object will appear correctly in a vertical format when the Rotation is set to 270 degrees
   
   

To create vertical alphabetical letters:

1. Create a text object
2. Go into the Text Properties > Text Format, then check the Wrap to fit width option and type in 0.01 within the Width field
