Overview

Service release R6 of BarTender 2022 adds support for the new GS1 Application Identifier (4309) for Ship-to / Deliver-to Geocode.

BarTender 2022 R6 and later

Information

1. The new Application Identifier can be selected from the GS1 Application Identifier Data Source Wizard under Symbology and Size.

2. Click Next on the popup dialog and select the Application Identifier 4309.

3. Once all the remaining steps of the GS1 Application Identifier Data Source Wizard are completed, click Finish. Your barcode will now include 2 data sources for latitude and longitude. 

BarTender will take the latitude and the longitude and concatenate them after conversion to a 20 Digit geocode. The calculation for the conversion can be reviewed here.
