This article is for end users who already have a working integration with Commander and are ready to transition to Integration Builder. Following the instructions below in order will guide you through using your old Commander files with Integration Builder.

Configure Permissions In Integration Builder

Print systems that communicate across networks commonly need elevated permissions in order to work correctly, so Commander may have been running under elevated permissions.  When transitioning from Commander to Integration Builder you will probably need to grant Integration Builder the same permissions you granted to Commander.

While permissions for Commander were set in Windows Services by running the Commander service under a specific Windows user account, permissions for Integration Builder are set directly in your integration file.

Test Integration Before Deploying To Production

Integration Builder allows you to test the integration for any errors prior to deploying it to production.

Deploy And Manage Integrations

After the integration has been properly tested it is ready to be deployed to production.  All deployed integrations can be managed from Administration Console.
