Symptom

When your label has a database connection based on OLEDB drivers, you may receive the following error message:

Error Message #3239: OLE DB has encountered error 0x80040E10:
Unknown error.

IDispatch error #3088

Fix/Answer

Error 0x80040E10 states the following: "No value given for one or more required parameters."

Chances are, there was a change in the database that you did not expect/did not account for. To best troubleshoot this, you will want to look at the Database Fields in BarTender and compare them to the database fields as listed in your database. A field might have been moved, deleted, or renamed.

Once you find the difference, close the label, make the changes in the database, save those changes, and open the BarTender document once more.
