 How do I add/remove bearer bars for my ITF-14 barcode?

Answer

 ITF-14 barcodes printed on a label require a bigger quiet zone along the sides of the barcode and this is why the bearer bars are removed; ITF-14 labels printed on corrugate (just the packaging, no label) require less space in the quiet zone.

To modify your bearer bars, you just need to double-click on your barcode to enter its properties; select the Symbology and Size option at the upper-left. You'll see an option for Bearer Bars. From here, you can select your type to top/bottom, rectangle (full), or none.
