Symptom

BarTender using an Oracle ODBC database connection is slow querying and displaying records in BarTender database connection setup and when printing. It is querying from a view containing over 600,000 records.

Environment

• BarTender v10.1 SR4
• Oracle v12 ODBC driver

Fix/Answer

Uncheck the Disable Rule Hint option in the ODBC Administrator and the Oracle ODBC configuration settings.
