Integration Error: System.String. Print Scheduler Service Is Not Running Or Is Unable to Communicate

Symptom

When running integrations, you may receive the following error log:

System.String[] This may occur because the BarTender Print Scheduler Service is not running or is unable to communicate. 
Check that the BarTender Print Scheduler Service is running. 
If the service is already running try restarting the service and re-running the integration.
More details: The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state.

Answer

Ensure that the service Print Scheduler service is running:

  1. Click on the search field and type Services into it.
  2. Find the service called BarTender Print Scheduler in the list.
  3. If the service is not running, start it.

  1. Alternatively, this may potentially happen if you restart the Print Scheduler Service with your integration running. The two may not properly communicate. If this happens, stopping and starting the integration should correct this issue.
