Error 1069: The Service did not Start Due to a Logon Failure
Symptom
You receive the error "Couldn't connect to BarTender System Service" when trying to print labels from BarTender Designer. Upon opening the Services menu, you notice that the BarTender System Service is not running. When you attempt to start the service, you receive the following message:
Environment
BarTender 2019 and later.
Solution
1. Open Windows Services and right-click on BarTender System Service. Select Properties.
2. Click on the Log On tab and select This account.
3. Specify credentials here that have local Administrator rights. Select Apply and then click OK.
4. Restart the BarTender System Service.
