Error 1069 at Print-Time
Symptom
When trying to print labels from BarTender Designer, you may receive the following error message:
Couldn't connect to BarTender System Service
When trying to start the BarTender System Service from the Services utility you then get the following error message:
Windows could not start the BarTender System Service service on Local Computer.
Error 1069: The service did not start due to logon failure.
Applicable to
BarTender 2019 and later.
Solution
1. Open Windows Services and right-click on BarTender System Service. Select Properties.
2. Click on the Log On tab and select This account.
3. Specify credentials here that have local Administrator rights. Select Apply and then click OK.
4. Restart the BarTender System Service.
