Symptom

While attempting to print using BarTender Designer, Error Message #3420 appears with the following error message:

 BarTender 2019 and above

Solution

This error occurs when the User Access Control setting within BarTender Administration Console has been configured to allow/deny specific user account(s) and the current user account has no access permission to use the license. To fix this issue:

1. Open BarTender Administration Console on your license server
2. Go to Licensing->License Setup. Under User Access Control, modify the rule to allow Everyone and Everywhere the access the license:
