When opening BarTender Designer, installed printer(s) does not show up in the File > Print dialog and Integration Builder's Print Options, when the printer driver has already been installed previously and appears under Windows Printers & scanners.
BarTender 2019 and above
The likely issue here is that the printer(s) is being blocked from being used due to a configuration setting in BarTender Administration Console. To resolve this issue:
- Open BarTender Administration Console with an administrator account then go to Printer Setup tab.
- Look for the Prevent all usage of this printer option and make sure this option is unchecked for the printer that is not showing up in BarTender Designer and Integration Builder then click on the Apply button to save the setting.
- Go back to BarTender Designer's Print dialogue or Integration Builder and the printer should be available for use now.
