Symptom

When entering the product key code (PKC) for BarTender activation, you may receive the following error message:

The activation Server returned the following error.

The product key code is invalid.

BarTender 2019 and later

Solution

The reason this error occurs is because the entered PKC is incorrect. It's recommended to copy and paste the PKC during input if possible. Otherwise, confirm the PKC again and make sure there is no typo. 

If you are unable to recover your PKC and you have previously registered your license with Seagull Scientific you can contact technical support to recover it.
