Will BarTender be supported on Windows 11 and Server 2022? Are Drivers By Seagull also compatible on these new operating systems?

Answer

  • What versions of BarTender will be compatible?

The latest releases of BarTender will run and have been tested on Windows 11 and Server 2022. This includes BarTender 2021 (latest service release recommended) and BarTender 2022 and later. Earlier versions of BarTender 2016 and 2019 will work and be supported, but they have NOT been fully validated in these environments. It is generally recommended to use other versions of BarTender that have been fully validated.

  • What versions of Drivers by Seagull will be compatible?

Drivers by Seagull 2021.2 and later should be compatible.

  • What are the system requirements and limitations?

System requirements will continue to be the same.

  • Is there anything else to be aware of?

Our QA team is currently testing Bartender on new builds of Windows 11 and Server 2022 as they are made available. We intend to ensure the latest versions of BarTender maintain compatibility with the latest versions of Windows.
