Removing <F1> From Verification Report Data
My customer has specified that their verification report data is to be only numbers with no parenthesis or <F1>.
Currently the data produced by the verification report is:
<F1>01008134260210741122121510121522A<F1>214502
How do I format the barcode so that neither of the <F1>s in front of the GTIN and the Serial Number appear in the verification report data?

Assuming the barcode has been correctly formatted in the first place, then for a GS1 symbol, there must always be a function1 character at the start of the barcode string and one is also needed as a Data Terminator anytime a variable length AI is being used, as in the 10 for the Batch/Lot number in your example, and another AI is following it.
If you take then these out of the GS1 symbol then it will no longer be valid.
There maybe a way to not show these in the report but that will be an option in the verifier or its software and not in the printed barcode.
