Conditional Printing Problems
Hi,
I need to print a label with an alphanumeric test in the center from an excel file. (Wxxxx(x=numbers)).
The label background must change color depending on the label number.
Example:
W1000 is black with white text
W1550 is red with black text
etc.
I used conditional printing creating 10 layers, one for every print condition. On 8 layers I add a rectangle with the needed color and print condition, on others write the numeric ranges. (black and white with relative conditions)
Everything seems working fine but I have some problems with the low number. When I need to print W200 if I create a rule between W1/W1000 bartender software ignores it. I split it into 3 rules (W1/W9 - W10/W99 - W100/W999) and works better but non every time. If I try to print W251 for some reason it uses rules from W2501).
Someone can explain to me what I did wrong?
Thanks

Hello Davide,
Thank you for reaching us via the BarTender Community Forums.
Could you provide us with some screenshots of how you created the conditional rules so we can better understand the issue? It is odd behavior to use rules for W2501 instead of W251, so a screenshot could prove useful to us in identifying the error.
Also, what BarTender version, edition, and service release are you currently on? You can find this information by clicking on the "Help > About" tab on BarTender Designer's upper menu.
Thank you in advance.0
