Word crashes selecting Printer Driver with fonts

Hi !

I have an issue with MS Word 2016 and Windows 10.

When I select the printer driver for the label printer in word, it crashes completely.

Only if I deactivate the option "Use Fonts saved on Printer" (in Options - Enhanced) it works, but then i don't have the barcode fonts...

Does anyone else also have this problem ? Does anyone have a solution for me ?

There ist no problem when using Windows 7 & Office 2016 or Win7 and Office 20**.

  Dear Gordon,

  At least Barcode font and device fonts worked in my environment (Win10 x64 + Word2016 x64) with Driver for Zebra printer 7.4.3.

  Try update to latest driver if not.

  Using device fonts (including Seagull driver's device font / barcode) getting increasingly difficult as that's kind of legacy function of windows - I recommend to use BarTender for barcode print on label printer.

  Due to this problems I am already changing to Bartender on the systems I support, but in some cases it will take more time to change and in the meanwhile i have the problems with the barcode fonts...

  Maybe it's just a config issue ? What do you have to change that you see the barcode fonts you configured in your printer driver ?

  Hello Gordon,

  No I didn't change any setting (even I didn't add a barcode font - just used the "Sample Barcode Font" installed.) You can reset to default setting, in printer properties > Tools > driver options.
