Zebra ZT510 not printing clearly
When trying to print the labels using Bartender 2019 on a Zebra ZT510, the labels are not readable by a barcode scanner.
When trying the test print, there is a AB17 print that is clear with the correct darkness. How do I configure Bartender to print using that setting?

If the issue is the darkness setting then there are two ways to adjust this either in the Front Panel or else in the label itself via the Document Properties > Options tab is using a Seagull driver. Please note, however, if you change the setting in the label then that will override whatever you set it to in the front panel.

We tried changing it to use the current printer settings. We were able to get it to print, however, we noticed the clarity that was being shown in the preview screen, did not match what was on the zebra printer. The lines would blend together and have barcodes that would sometimes scan but not consistently.
Any suggestions on what to try next?

What orientation are you barcodes printing, ladder or picket fence? Depending on this and the heat being used then you may need to slow down the printing.
I would also suggest that you check that the resolution of the printer itself matches that of the driver. If you print out a Configuration label via the front panel of the printer then that should show the DPI of the unit which you can then check against the driver

Peter, we are using a Zebra ZT510 203 printer with the original factory setting (minus the darkness). The label stock is 3 across and we're printing it landscaped.
From what I can find out, it appears the heat and speed setting can be set on the windows printer driver but if I'm using "Use Current Printer Settings" would it not ignore the heat/speed setting? Is there settings on the Zebra unit itself? I didn't see a heat or speed setting in the zebra main menu when I went through the settings or the user guide.

If the Use Current Printer Settings is ticked then BarTender will not send the heat/darkness and speed settings to the printer in the label format and so the device will use the settings in the front panel. These should be the first options in the Settings Menu Option on the front panel of the printer.
