How to create label with marks?
Hello everyone,
we are facing an issue with TSCMB240, we are trying to print on a 6.5cm circle (transparent paper) with die cuts (gap) but the printer sensor is not able to read it, and therefore it doesn't print.
We have found a way to solve the issue by using a label with black marks, and we would like to produce the black mark (print it beneath the label so the sensor can read the gaps and print accordingly).
Any idea how can we print the black marks on the label we have? we already found a way but its lacking sth (it is not really efficient) I would like to check if the way I used is the correct one:
1. I printed on the label from the other way around (beneath the label, pictures will follow)
2. I draw a black line on the bartender and choose the thickness to be 3mm
3. I choose continuos print method and choose the label height to be 7 cm
it actually worked but the line kind of isnt always in the right place
my question is how can we print on transparent paper? and is there any other way or suggestions to create black marks on the backside of the label?
first and second picture are the original labels, and on pic 3 is the black line we printed so the sensor can read the label, in pic 4 you will see how the black mark was able to make the sensor read the gap.

I don't know those printers but from looking at the manual it looks like the label sensor is fixed to the bulkhead and so you cannot move it in which case using a black mark would seem to be the best option to choose.
Have you approached your label manufacturers to see if they can retrospectively print a black registration mark on the back of the labels?
