I read and tried out the article in the title by Samantha Petro. It worked perfectly as described using a single text field. I could print a human readable TID on the label as it was printed. I noticed the font had to be a native printer font for it to work. I was only able to print in text form, could not print out a QR code of the TID at the same time for example. Tried with both a Zebra ZD621 and Sato CL4NX printers with their drivers configured as per instructions. Also if I tried to print two consecutive labels it only read the TID from the first label and repeated it on the second (instead of interrogating the second label too). I have a customer who wants TID printed on a batch of labels (barcode and human readable) - any other suggestions on how this might be achieved?
