Unable to install Zebra Printer (Zebra) on M2 Mac with Parallels
Hi. I try to install a Zebra Printer (GX430T) on my Virtual Machine.
MacOS 13.4.1 (M2) with Parallels Desktop 18.3.1
Windows 11 Pro
When i try to install the drivers, the installer said, that some parts are in use and the machiene has go restart. After that, there is a message that the Printer wasn't able to install. (Zebra 2023.2) The Installation is done over a manual IP Connection.
Try also to download the drivers from zebra directly.
Got the error "Kann Sprachmonitor nicht hinzufügen 1805" and "Printer could not be added 1603.
Ive try it on a virtual Machine that is in the Domain and also on a clean install with just Windows 11. Get the same problem on both.
Does anyone have similar problems? I can share Printers from my mac, but dont have any printer drivers for it, so this is also not a option.
Thank you for your inputs.

Hello Manuel,
Thank you for reaching us via our Community Forums. It seems like you're facing difficulties installing the Zebra GX430T printer on your virtual machine running Windows 11 Pro. The error messages you mentioned indicate issues with adding the language monitor and adding the printer itself. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:- Restart the Virtual Machine: Sometimes, restarting the virtual machine can help resolve conflicts and ensure a clean installation. After the restart, try installing the Zebra printer drivers again.
- Disable Antivirus/Firewall: Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software on your virtual machine. These security programs can sometimes interfere with printer installations. Once disabled, attempt to install the drivers again. Remember to re-enable any disabled antivirus or firewall software after troubleshooting.
- Run the Installer as Administrator: Right-click on the printer driver installer file and select "Run as administrator." This ensures that the installation process has the necessary permissions to complete successfully.
- Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot of your virtual machine to eliminate any conflicting software or services. Follow these steps:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type "msconfig" and press Enter.
- In the System Configuration window, navigate to the "Services" tab.
- Check the "Hide all Microsoft services" box and click the "Disable all" button.
- Go to the "Startup" tab and click "Open Task Manager."
- In the Task Manager, disable all startup items.
- Close the Task Manager and click OK in the System Configuration window.
- Restart your virtual machine.
- After the clean boot, try installing the Zebra printer drivers again.- Install in Compatibility Mode: If the printer drivers are not explicitly designed for Windows 11, you can try installing them in compatibility mode for an older Windows version. Here's how:
- Right-click on the printer driver installer file and select "Properties."
- Go to the "Compatibility" tab.
- Check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for."
- Select an older version of Windows (e.g., Windows 10) from the drop-down menu.
- Click OK and then run the installer.- Contact Zebra Support: If none of the above steps work, it's best to reach out to Zebra's customer support for further assistance. They may have specific recommendations or updated drivers for Windows 11.
I hope one of these steps helps you resolve the issue and successfully install the Zebra GX430T printer on your virtual machine.

I wonder if this is connected to the Windows 11 and ARM chip issue mentioned elsewhere, such as
