PB J693 -- Issue With Ethernet Adapter
Hello,
We tried to install and configure an Ethernet adapter on Pittney Bowes J693 printer, but one prompted for firmware file to upload. So we followed Honeywell firmware update instructions for Class I-4208 Mk 1 model and installed new bootloader (BOOTPA99_1206.bs) and firmware (I4208PA_0803W3.zg).
However, printer failed to detect NIC properly, so we proceeded with 4208PA11_12076.zg file, now having firmware updated to v12.076. This time device detected network adapter successfully, but we failed to configure the static IP eventually. Please refer to the picture attached.
The question is, how could be this problem fixed?
Thank you in advance!

Been a long to since I played with a MK1. You could try removing the network card and reflashing the firmware then sliding the network card back in and see if that picks it up this time, powering up and the down the unit in between each part, but you probably need to approach to Honeywell for assistance with this

Appreciate your response! Actually, contacting Honeywell support was the very first thing I tried, but they proved themselves useless, though. Basically, I got "unfortunately the model you are working with is no longer supported by the technical support team" response coupled with a half-assed link to totally useless KB article.
