    Hi,Screwdriver:

Is IBM iSeries (IFS) use AS400? If you are monitoring a non-Windows drive, please try to use "Polling" as the detection method. You mention you are running commander as an application? If you are running as a service, user permission and UNC path can be another factor.

I also attach commander trouble shooting guide for your reference.

    Thanks!

The old name of IBM iSeries is IBM AS400. It use AS400.

    I use the "Polling"-mode.

If Commander is running as a service, he can't find the path.
If Commander is running as application, he finds the path.

I read the commander trouble shooting guide, but there is no help.

I assume nothing changed on IBM file part. The only change is from Bartender 9.01 upgrade to Bartender 9.4 SR3?? BT9.01 work for you but BT 9.4SR3 start to have problems? Can you send your commander *tl file, btw file and trigger file to asiatech@seagullscientific.com for our reference. I will work with you further.

    Thanks!

    I've got the solution.

It's a IBM problem named QDLS.

I changed the Network share from QDLS to the ROOT directory and it works !!!

It is not recommended to use QDLS these days, because it use the 8.3 file convention.
