Commander - Run As Application
Is there a way to force Commander to "Run as an Application" versus as a service in Windows 7? In order for us to make it work it has to run as as application, but Windows asks for Administrator rights login when changing to "Run as an Application". Most users do not have admin rights, so Commander will not work.
System is Windows 7, BarTender/Commander 8.01

It should be noted that BarTender supports Windows 7 from v9.20 onwards.
In any case, when switching between running as application/service you will need admin rights due to the stoppage of a Windows service.0 -
I guess it also depends on what you have set for your Windows UAC (User Access Control) setting. 0 -

In Commander with detection stopped, go to the "Administer>Service setup" and select the appropriate radio button. 0 -
