    It should be noted that BarTender supports Windows 7 from v9.20 onwards.

    In any case, when switching between running as application/service you will need admin rights due to the stoppage of a Windows service.

    I guess it also depends on what you have set for your Windows UAC (User Access Control) setting.

    Hi i have the admin rights, could you tell me how to switch commander running as service to as application and vice-versa

    In Commander with detection stopped, go to the "Administer>Service setup" and select the appropriate radio button.
