How To Use A Named Datafield In A Database Query

I would like to use a named datafild in a database (excel file) query, is there a way to do that?

  do you know if bartender can import header field data names into a QR code from XL file?

  Are you talking about the field names that BarTender gives for each column of the Excel file?  No, I don't think this is possible, even when using VB script in the document.
