Upgrading From 2016 R2 To R3 Failure
Hi all
I just wanted to report a problem I had performing an in-place upgrade of a 64bit installation of Bartender from 2016 R2 to R3 running on a Windows 2012 VM. After the install completed I checked the integrations that were deployed and found one had failed failed with the following message.
Could not load file or assembly 'Seagull.Services.StorageSite.Accounts, Version=11.0.3.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=109ff779a1b4cbc7' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied. Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
I've since gone back to the pre-install checkpoint
regards
Simon

Thanks for the information. Would it be possible for you to get in touch with tech-support for your region and send them a copy of the BarTender Integration File in question, indicating which integration in particular was affected, together with the various integration.service, printscheduler.service, and system.service log files found at the below location?
C:\ProgramData\Seagull\Services\Logging
Without this information we'll be kind of shooting in the dark.

Same error when upgrading to R3
Did they find a fix for this yet?
