What type of Windows cluster is this? Is it an Active / Passive cluster?

What Edition, Version and Build of BarTender is in use?

Is Printer Maestro installed on the same computer as BarTender?

They are on a failover cluster (Active-Passive clustering, Shared-Nothing
    model).

    Running 10.1 SR2 Build 2945.

BarTender is on a standalone server.

The print cluster (where Maestro is installed) is a separate set of servers.

Let me know if you need more information.

    Thanks

What Edition of BarTender is in use, is it the Automation or Enterprise Automation Edition?

In order for BarTender to retrieve print job messages from the printer via Printer Maestro, Printer Maestro also needs to be installed on the BarTender PC. If this is not the case, please install PM on the BT computer.

Further information can be found on our White Paper:

    http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/whitepapers/enterprise-print-management(english).pdf

I quote the following from the White Paper:

    "With the Enterprise Automation edition:

When you run Printer Maestro on a workstation where the Enterprise Automation
edition of BarTender is installed, you can actually view every print job for every
printer attached to any network computer that has a copy of the Printer Maestro
service installed (see dedicated chapter later in this white paper). Again, this
powerful enterprise management capability applies to all print jobs – not just
    those generated by BarTender.

BarTender is installed on the BarTender labeling server, the print cluster front-end, and the print cluster host.

I suspect their printers may not be bi-directional-capable.  I will check that next.

    Thanks for the response.
