Detect Unknown License Server
I am currently in the process of consolidating license servers at 2 locations and I am having trouble locating one of the license servers. I know it exists because the new server would not run on the default port of 5160 and I have seen that the bartender workstation installs at that location are not registering printers on the new server. What is the best way to detect the unknown server? I tried using nmap on the subnet set to detect any machines with port 5160 open and it found nothing. Any suggestions?

From BarTender client, Adminster menu > Licensing setup, click "test" button. When BarTender successfully connected to a License Server, the host name of the license server will be shown.0 -
I'm using Bartender 10.0 SR1 (Trial), and I don't see the licensing setup option on the administer menu. I'd like to connect to the licensing server within my company, which is on another site and a different subnet, but I can't locate the form to specify the server IP or name.

The Licensing Setup menu is only available on activated Automation or higher versions of BarTender. What you'll need to do to make that work is to activate BarTender by selecting Help>Activate this Software, then provide your product key code. Once it's activated that menu will be available.0
