Message #1402 Follow

Hi Folks,

 

I'm pretty new to Bartender version 9.4. I installed the application a while ago and we are just getting around to using it now.

I get a message "Message #1402 Bartender cannot find the Seagull License Server on the network". 

 

I have it installed on server running Windows Server 2008 R2 and Bartender to automatically find it.

 

Any ideas

Make sure that your License Server is running and accessible on the network.  Also try changing BarTender's licensing setup to go directly to the License Server by either IP address of PC name instead of using automatically find to see if it's a network problem that's blocking the connection.

How do I check that the license server is running? Should it be showing up as a service??

Go to where License Server is installed and open up the application window in order to check its status.
