    Hello,

Which BarTender version are you using? And Windows version?

Is your database connection setup sorted? you can check it clicking on "File" menu > "Database Connection Setup" item > "Sort" tab

    Thanks,

    Carlos

    Hey Carlos

    Using 10.1 with windows 2007.

Did what you suggested and it worked. Much appreciated for your help.

Our system exports CSV files that we use to print. I am going through the trial version of Bartender to see if it will do what we need. Right now I am stuck on sorting. Our current label printing software will allow us to sort the labels printed on a specific field in the CSV file. With the CSV file set as the database, I do not get a sort tab as an option. Is there a different way to get sorted output when using CSV as the input?

    Steven,

You can try to create an ODBC User DSN using the "Microsoft Access Text Driver" in ODBC Administrator, and then connect to this source from BarTender's database connection setup dialog. Do this by selecting "ODBC Data Source" and then your User DSN. Once connecting to the data source, you will see a "Sort" tab.
