Query Prompt
I have a database connection set up through the OLE DB ODBC driver. When printing the label, the query prompt pops up first, allowing me to specify the key value for the data file. After that, I get the prompt dialog where I can type in other data that goes on the label.
Is there a way to merge the query prompt into the prompt dialog so that the person printing the label does not have to click through two pop-up windows?
Thanks,
Scott

Dear Scott:
Do you setup Query Prompt through the below step?
Step 1: Connect to the right database through Bartender
Step 2: On the File-> Database Connection Setup-> Click on “Query” Tab
Step 3: Setup a New Prompt
Step 4: On the Query Prompts screen, put the Query name and Print-time user Prompt in
Step 5: Test with File->Print Preview,
Input the key value on the Print Wizard- Enter data for query screen
It will show the rest of matched database data for the selected record if setup in the label.
Currently query prompt and print prompt is in separate GUI. You might be able to achieve your requirement by VBScript depend on your actual implementation.

Did you manage to do this in the end? I'm looking to implement exactly the same thing here and am scratching my head as to how to do it.
Thanks
John

Currently (as of 10.1SR4) BarTender doesn't have consolidated record filter and data entry - Data entry comes after Query Prompt. We had such request a while and hopefully we can support such in future version.
I'll add you as our wish list to come the feature sooner.
