We've made a change in BarTender 10.1 to facilitate this, what you'd need to to is specify the alpha serialization as an event interval of 100, and check the box for 'track interval remaining between print jobs'.

In older versions, this isn't possible to do without VB scripting, basically you'd have to control the rollover and stepping of the alpha object via scripting.

Dang, So I think our warehouse is using 10.0 at the moment

Is it easy to upgrade or will we have to make another purchase?

    Hello,

You can contact your usual reseller for an upgrade quote on your license. If you are currently using the version 10.0, it is not necessary to buy a new license.

If you don't have the contact information of your reseller anymore, feel free to contact the sales service in charge of your geographical area:

    Hello,

I'm reaching out to ask if BarTender 2016 has the ability to serialize alpha characters?  I am looking to serialize numbers 001-009 and then from A-Z, back to 10-19, then to A1-Z1.

I can switch the settings between the numeric and alpha serializations manually, however, I am interested in knowing if BarTender has the ability to serialize alpha characters.

    Please advise.

Not directly as the the sequence you require is non standard. Set as Alphanumeric it will go 1-9 then A-Z and then 10-19 but after that it will go 1A-1Z
