Increment Serial Number Across Templates Follow

My Bartender file has two templates to correspond with having 2 labels per row. If I set the serialization, only the serial number on the next row for that column will get incremented. I can't get the serial number to increment from Column 1 (Template 1) to Column 2 (Template 2). This would be fine if I needed 2 copies of each label but I only need 1 copy of each. Is there a way to increment the serial number across the templates so that row 1 will have SN's 1 and 2, row 2 will have SN's 3 and 4, etc.? Or is there another way to set up the file to do this?

Any reason why you don't have just the one template where the layout is for two columns (2 labels) across the web?

I use a predefined label stock and it sets up each column as a separate template. How would having one template with two columns eliminate the problem?

Because based on what you seem to be wanting that is the way you do it.  After all, you essentially want a single template (label design), but with variable data in it.  Maybe this training video will help you: http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/training-video-thermal-printer-setup.aspx

Thanks, I figured it out. It was very easy. I think I was making it more complicated than it needed to be.
